I believe that you already have everything it takes to become the leader you want to be. Perhaps you are already leading a team, or you are about to take on a leadership position. If you can imagine what that could look like, then it is absolutely possible. Achieving your full potential then becomes a process of identifying strengths, values, blind spots and sticking points, and addressing the obstacles in your way.

The reasons for wanting to grow my leadership come from a sense of purpose, a personal vision extending beyond myself to others and to the world. Putting this vision into action improves lives in profound ways. Whatever you choose to make most important drives your personal vision, and if you are not clear what that is, then it has power over your life. Becoming clear about this empowers you to choose what actions to take.

Leadership

I see leadership as something more than just delivering results and strategic thinking. Becoming a fully embodied leader involves possessing the capacities for doing, thinking, feeling and being. Then being able to call on what is needed in the moment in any situation or challenge. Also important is being able to slow down, to reflect, to introspect, and to contemplate. Then to determine when you are coming from a place of true character, or from a place of persona. This is how to lead with authenticity.

I’m all about cultivating a growth mindset, where through your efforts and your attitude towards learning, you can improve your basic qualities, like intelligence. This, like the sides of the mountain is critical for success.

I am Cape Town-based, and I love the outdoors. There are some truly beautiful spaces for us to meet and walk. Whether its outdoors, indoors or on a screen, the coaching conversations will move you closer to your goals. It works by considering multiple perspectives to build awareness, challenging you through powerful questions and direct feedback, and through accountability.
